After many years of utilising other ceramic systems, a power generation company was searching for a new system which could improve the efficiency of their hot and cold-water pumps.
CHALLENGE:
The client required at least a 5% reduction in energy consumption across all pumps, including coatings that could withstand operating temperatures up to 100°C on hot water lines.

VENT FAN ENERGY GAINS
OVERVIEW:
A 2.8m diameter fabricated steel fan used in a mining and mineral processing facility was experiencing frequent bearing failures caused by vibration and unbalanced load from fine dust accumulation. Regular high-pressure washing was required every 3–6 months to control build-up, leading to significant downtime and maintenance costs. Chemcote was engaged to implement a long-term solution.
