SOLUTION
Application of a high temperature and chemically resistant coating system (Chem-tect™ RA 300) which can provide a quick turnaround
SCOPE
Abrasive blast to AS 1627.4 with a profile of 75µm minimum.
Application of RA 332 in 2 coats with a nominal thickness of 1,000µm.
Application of 400gm/m² CSM on all edges of paddles in strips between 1st and second coat. Followed by applications of RA 300 series in three coats as per Chemco specification.
Post cure as required to manufacturers specifications
PRODUCTS
This is a glass-flake vinyl ester coating providing excellent resistance. Ideally suitable for Caustic alkalis, hypochlorite bleaches & organic solvents’. Res. Max.80°C.
OUTCOME
Quick turn around and back in service allowing minimal disruption to production requirements
